How do I renew my driving license?

To renew your driving license online in the UAE. You have to follow some basic steps to get renewal:

1.Go to rta.ae website services section.

2.Select “Drivers and car owner services” from the service section.

3.Filter the search by “renew” option.

4.Select.”Apply for renewing a driving license

5.Click on “Apply now” at the bottom of the screen.

6.Click on “Driver License Services” tab.

7.Click on “License Renewal” tab to fill up the form.

8.Fill up the form with the information required and click on “Confirm”.

9.Pay the fee and get the driving license renew.

10.Go to the link, traffic.rta.ae to validate the driving license renewal.

Driving License renewal fee is AED100 + AED20 for knowledge and innovation fees for people younger than 21. However, the driving license renewal fee is AED300 + AED20 for knowledge and innovation fees for people older than 21. It would take just 5 minutes to renew your driving license online, including checking its validity afterwards.
